if you believe that who you vote for makes any difference to a single one of the issues troubling society today, i’m afraid you are deluded.
the job of the politician is not to affect change, it is to maintain the status quo.
the system is not one of democracy, but of consumerism, and since scarcity raises profit, it is in business interest, and thus political interest, to keep up the...

I like to pretend I’m still a teen, but I’m nearing 30.
deep down, despite the turmoil and insecurity most of us experience in those years, they always seem to be our ideal years, before we got tainted by the real world.
funny that

overheard at a bar
girl: God you're forward!
boy: i'm the only one who gets to call me god!
girl: I can't call you god? what am i going to yell out now when i'm screaming in pleasure?
boy: my name will do.
boy: my divinity shouldn't be advertised, lest people forget their own
girl: you're right - I'll scream out "O God I'm good, and you're not bad either!"

swaying perception
over-simplification, just like over-complication, is a bad thing because it means that you CANNOT get the full picture across, and without the full picture nobody can make an informed decision.
when we over-simplify an issue, we deprive the observer of vital FACTS, when we over-complicate an issue, we confuse the observer, obscuring vital FACTS, in each case skewing the issue to suit our desires...
so you close your eyes, and the world goes dark
for a time, you are supremely aware of everything you cannot see

it begins to settle, and a profound silence settles over you

wtf!? how the hell can Americans drink budweiser… it tastes like that time i woke up with a hangover to find a cow peeing on me. America needs serious assistance in the beer department.
Truth spills from your mouth, lol. The only American beer I fancy is Sammy Adams.
isn’t that the beer designed for all seasons? srsly? really? i mean… isthisshitforreal?

Absolutely. I hate that I truly see people becoming like that film Wall-E. It’s a pretty frightening metaphor they portray.

Without a doubt. I live to destroy these awful things forced on humans. When I worked in the grocery store I used to try to secretly convince moms not to buy kool-aid and stuff like that haha.

But forget all of those wonderful things. We can devise a chemical formula that artificially tastes like any fruit you want. We just have to fill it with 5 handfuls of refined sugar and we can make it for pennies! It’s genius.

lol. Light beer tastes like water to me. What kind of beer do you prefer? Like porters, stouts, etc.

I will definitely try it out. I think it’s time I refined my palette a tad :p
for a truly refined palate, try this new product… called water, and it’s freakin amazing! most undefinable flavour on the planet… and i don’t think there is anything quite as refreshing :)

I’m American and I hate Bud! It’s kind of a redneck beer :x

I don’t even know to tell you the truth. Had a friend serve me some really tasty German imported stuff and my taste buds exploded. Had no clue beer could actually taste that good. I would love some suggestions..
if you’re ever keen for the REAL good stuff, try Bavarian
deus—ex-machina replied to your post: wtf!? how the hell can Americans drink budweiser……
Our Canadian Budweiser is a bit better. But I only recently discovered that all of the really major brands are horse piss compared to real beer.
and what do you consider to be real beer?

the universe has two constants
i suppose that anyone scientific would completely disagree, but since i mean it philosophically, those disagreements are going to be ignored completely
the two constants, are choice and change, and they are so intrinsically linked that it is not that difficult to view them as one and the same
everything changes, all the time, and it’s all chosen… every single change.

Here are some uncomfortable historical facts that are largely ignored, glossed over, or blatantly suppressed in most American school curricula:
