“we live in these massive virtual communities, almost none of the interaction has any clear intention, and then I see so many people claiming they hate the system. Self-defeating really, since they are the system, and they’ll remain the system as long as their interactions have no intention. Now if these were Virtual Intentional Communities, well, I wouldn’t be saying anything now, because there’d be nothing worth saying except maybe. “Good, carry on.”—
the answer to yesterday's question, er those interested, is rats. The female is called a doe, the male is a buck or a stag. And the young are called pups, though breeders sometimes call them kittens, which is ironic given the antagonistic relationship between cats and rats :)
Wanna win at monopoly every time? Don't buy anything at all. Just like the real world buying in means a slow death by taxation and penalties. Not buying in means collecting at begin and all the community chest and free parking is yours. Your rent will never be more than their mortgages. You win.
to know you never know what you know they know we know you have to just know… till rhythm drops a beat in the system, a wildfire uncontrollable started from a angry little spark in the darkness. what is this? am i a witness to limitless limits and chains allegorical, tales metaphorical taken for truth? a slue of credit card kings and queens with the means to spin tales and makes sales and own it all? falling leaders so tall on their royal-bought thrones, these clowns are insults, real clowns are funny, and are willing to let me laugh when i give them my money. funny, when it breaks down it’s all just us. the silent, the violent, those who don’t make a fuss. the loud, the extreme, those stuck in between. and those who don’t know they never know what they know we know. you know?
Effect does not follow Cause, Choice does. I seriously wish people would consider this. every choice has a cause and an effect. the causes and effects don’t exist alone. cause leads to choice, which in turn has effects, but simply thinking that everything is cause and effect removes us from the equation. and that is where we go wrong. we are the equation. as observer, our observation makes the observed exist. by our choice to observe it.
In the beginning. Three words that have the most profound impact on our planet. It is the offer of an answer. The answer, much disputed, is that a Divine being created all the universe and then chose man to enact HIS will. And what a wonderful setup that has turned out to be. We, the actors of God’s will, must one day face judgement for these actions. The inherent unfairness is irrelevant, for how does one judge the Divine? Not easily, and certainly not too loudly, lest we wake the horrible heathen hunters.
So, In the Beginning, God created everything. He then singled out mankind and gave to a single individual (Abraham and his descendants) the authority to rule over the world. Of course this is after man has already been cast out of paradise for listening to a snake and eating the fruit of knowledge. Shall we then say “In the beginning, God made one flawed man a king.”? Again, not too loudly, because it is at this point that our heathen hunters start sharpening pitchforks and blaming Eve for all our woes, or some other kind of sexist, racist, thoughtless drivel.
This story, whether literal or symbolic and allegorical in nature, poses some very big questions, and I wont attempt to enumerate them all here, but some of the bigger ones include:
Is humankind suited to rule? If not, what kind of Divinity chooses us as Rulers? Is destruction, pain and suffering a Divine method of Rule?
My favorite one though- Does our Authority extend to all of our planet? of course it does, we rule a planet where we cannot communicate with even a single percent of our fellow inhabitants.
Now, since we derive our authority from God, and God is Divine, we are to assume that the Divine method would be perfect, but there are some alarming points about this particular Divine method. God is KING of heaven. He rules over everything from his heavenly THRONE surrounded by various devout followers ALWAYS at hand to sing his praises and KNEEL before him in supplication. The king has VASSALS in the form of Angels and LORDS in the rulers of men, and we are the masses, like PEASANTS existing in and destined for hell, unless we kneel and embrace the King’s authority. This is FEUDALISM.
For centuries, Feudalism was the be-all and end-all of human politics. Kings ruled with either iron fists or limp wrists, but rule they did. Since kings and emperors (Like God) owned everything within their domain, the Holey Trinity of Church-State-Bank were united in the Divinely chosen Leader. Power corrupted, and the resulting hunger began a long series of rebellions that eventually taught us the value of mass-opinion. Democracy was born and quickly became the buzz-word in liberation movements. Communism and Socialism tried their hand, but fell short of their well-written paper promises, while Democracy flourished. The principal sounds good: “Let each have his say, and the majority wins.” How far we have come? From one ruler, to the freedom to choose one ruler. Or have we?
We still have our Royalty (Presidents, Ministers, Governors, Senators) We have the Vassals (CEO’s, Managing Directors) we have the Servants (The Global Military establishment) and we certainly still have the Peasants.
Everyone is told they have God-given rights, but few speak of our responsibilities, because, like our God, we can place the burden of responsibilities on those beneath us. (The world’s poor still make up the dominant part of the world’s labor force).
There is one system though, untried since the beginning. Impossible, because by its very nature, it refutes this Feudal Caste System. It threatens the status quo upholding the king’s dominion and dissolves his power. The king, unable to relinquish that power will fight to preserve it. It is a war. It has always been a war. A war of power, for power. And the losing side has a name defilied, first by the kings, and then later, by themselves. They are the Anarchists.
Many words have had their meanings changed and distorted throughout human history. But few as completely and effectively as the word Anarchism. What once stood for a belief in self-sufficiency and self-accountability, has become viewed as a system of chaos and destruction.
Anarchy and Anarchism are two very different ideas. Anarchy is the lack of governance. Anarchism is self-governance. The assumption of course is that by accepting Anarchism, we doom ourselves to Anarchy, and there is some justification for trepidation. In fact, for thousands of years, our kings have pointed out to us lowly peasants just how imperfect we are. Perfection is Divine, and we are sinful mortals. We are born with sin, something a Paleontologist might say dates back to our bestial origins. It is evidence all around us. From the over-consumerism of our western societies, to the depraved cruelties of the 3rd world. We pollute, we fight, we plunder, we rape, we steal, we kill.
But what if this ‘evil’ is not a symptom of innate human imperfection, but the result of deliberately distorted perceptions. When a war is fought, both sides end up losing, but there is a third party that profits, because every bullet fired proves the need for the king’s authority. The king wins, everyone else loses, and all because of an incorrect perception that our darker nature justifies authority, while the opposite is true. Authority is the source of our darker nature.
This perception twisted everything, until Anarchism became Anarchy, Love became Fear. Fear of each other, fear of ourselves. Our willingness to help because help was needed became a reluctance to help unless there is profit and gain. Our Religion preaches faith in the Authority of God. Our Government preaches faith in the Authority of our Leaders. Our Corporations preach a faith in the Authority of our Money. and all the while pointing out that man himself deserves no faith.
Utopia is a world in balance and perfect harmony within itself. Comparable to descriptions of Paradise or Heaven. A world of peace where each individual exists purposefully within a whole society and are free to express and explore their individuality and the full system. A world without a leader, because all are leaders who follow.
Our understanding of Utopia is so foreign to the reality of the Real World that we cannot accept it. As civilized beings we have developed a moral compass and this compass requires both right AND wrong to exist. A utopia has no wrong, so how will we know right? Does achieving Utopia doom us to the loss of our civility? The assumption seems to be that in a Utopia we will be deprived of choice. That only through conformity and uniformity can we achieve lasting peace. While this is understandable as a perspective based in limited perception, the truth is at once far simpler and in complete disagreement.
There is a vast, yet subtle, difference between a CHOICE and an OPTION. The difference is similar to that of the Essay and the Multiple-choice Quiz. The former allows for self-expression and self-exploration, while the latter tells you what your options are. By accepting Anarchism and moving deliberately toward a Utopia, we are not eliminating options but revealing choices.
Feudal systems, Democratic Systems, Socialist Systems are all ways of maintaining the status quo, so the king lives long. But is this the way to exist in a Symbiotic and Emergent Universe? No, of course not. The Rational, Logical and Morally correct thing to do, is to Choose Change. Of course, the freedom of choice allows you to choose existing systems and methods, and once you start choosing, the chances are that you’ll eventually choose several, adapting them to suit your needs. but limits, laws, restrictions, rules, false options and narrowed perceptions, all of which lead, eventually, to decay. A society in motion will tend to stay in motion, but a society at rest will devour itself.
We are now entering the age of awareness, when more people are experiencing more perspectives while sharing their own. How we choose to use our new awareness, as peasants serving a king, or as free people tending our home, will determine what lies ahead. Feudalism or Anarchism, the choice we must wake up to.
Remember this though. All kings are anarchists, since they will not let another rule over them. And maybe, just maybe, the answer doesn’t lie “In the beginning” but “In A Beginning”
The nature of religion itself is not the problem, since EVERY religious person will tell you their religion preaches peace.. the problem is the ability of religious institutions to influence decisions based on moral opinion and religious dogma, and most of the time it is for the sake of personal profit. this ability stems directly from the monetary and political systems themselves, and not religion. religion on the individual level is more accurately described as spirituality, so without money, or political influence, the major churches/mosques/synagogues/temples will very quickly have to shape up or ship out, because they will be entirely run by individuals required to function efficiently together for the common greater good. and not toward the self-enriching aims of an elite few playing the masses as their puppets.
This blog is little more than a collection of essays and other posts written by a complete amateur (Me). They should not be taken as the learned teachings of someone sensible, since I would consider all of those labels to be at the very least mildly offensive.
I am no scholar, though my language tends to the verbose, as does theirs though I dare say my predilection for tasty and succulent word-smithying might leave some of their bland flavour seeming somewhat colourless at times, little more than simple printed words with no life of their own.
I am probably one of the worst candidates for a teacher since the inception of the position. My limitless impatience with those who withhold from learning makes me a terror when teaching, and alas, people are taught to be fragile by our intensely individualist world, and so I withhold my barbed tongue from direct education, and give it rather here, uninterrupted, save by myself, for your full perusal, may you learn what you will.
And finally, if I am ever rightfully accused of sensibility in a world where sensibility requires relative stupidity, I hope the sentence is Capital, because I know that I could never face my own reflection again.
“we judge people for judging people because judging people is wrong. we kill people for killing people because killing people is wrong. we hurt people for hurting people because hurting people is wrong. why can’t we free people to free people because freeing people is right?”—
Does your accent get you any action from le foreign ladies?
hahaha… no, i’m afraid that my background has left me somewhat without an accent. My travels around the world and then drama training have given me a very neutral sounding accent. South Africans think i’m British. Brits think i’m a Kiwi. Kiwi’s don’t really care, and everyone else seems to think i’m Latino or Greek. There were some Ameri can Girls while I was working and living in the Caribbean, but they were extremely wasted, so i’m not sure it counts. how about you?
“I have no right to call myself one who knows. I was one who seeks, and I still am, but I no longer seek in the stars or in books; I’m beginning to hear the teachings of my blood pulsing within me. My story isn’t pleasant, it’s not sweet and harmonious like the invented stories; it tastes of folly and bewilderment, of madness and dream, like the life of all people who no longer want to lie to themselves.”—
Never did i think that the world’s problems would come home to my yard. Gonna have to stand up and make my discontent heard. Give the powers that be a wake-up call. You can do the same. Up the stakes to where they have to listen to us. Never settle for the kind of nonsense they’re actually giving us. Gonna break down these walls keeping us from freedom. Let the lines that separate us and hold us be erased. You don’t have to carry on the way you are now. Down with coercion and lies. Never turn your back on injustice. Gonna have to break some comfortable illusions to get it done. Run some idiots out of office, business and the public spotlight. Around my area, this will mean exposing secrets. And the chances are good that the same is true for your area. Desert the idea that things will change if we just keep hoping. You are worth more
Don’t worry about the ones you lose. If people suddenly stop caring about what you say just because you’re quiet for a while, it’s likely they were never really listening in the first place.
what makes me sad, is that i can’t help them anymore. they might have a valid question one day, and no-one that can answer it. I’m not saying I have THE answer, but i have some answers, because i spend so much time questioning. my sadness isn’t really for me… it’s for them.
thanks though, the solidarity is always appreciated :)
“irresponsible? irresponsible is giving your personal power to a candidate representing a party supported by people with a vested interest in maintaining the status quo so as to further their profit margins to the detriment of the very public providing the profit. Telling me i’m irresponsible because i will not support a system of coercive stagnation shows that your sense of responsibility is tending to defend that profit margin, and not the freedom your political puppet prattles on about.”—
i run a linksearch algorhythm to identify who is accessing the page, I then check all your clicks and links to establish your general topic interests. certain topics allow for a rating. a word cloud is created from your blog to establish the frequency with which words with seven letters or more are used on your blog this gives me a second rating, the two ratings are multiplied and from there i allow or disallow permissions to access the ask function.
or i just randomly say that intelligent people can access my ask box in order to get people to ask me questions :) almost worked too :)
“Do not only meditate where all is peaceful and tranquil. Meditate also where there is noise and distraction. To find silence when all is silent is too simple and teaches the mind to be complacent. Finding silence because it exists within you, should be as easy in Time Square as in a Tibetan Monastary. I’ve found I am most at peace in the street on a windy day with chaos howling outside and silence echoing within.”—
Is laziness or “being lazy” a naturally occurring human behaviour/personality? Or is it an “invention” or “concept” directly cause by this perverse system? If it is a naturally occurring characteristic, what role would that play in a resource-based economy where there is no specific incentive to be productive? Say if “for the betterment of yourself and society” was not enough to inspire someone to “work”..
this is a good question, but i’m too lazy to answer it… kidding! :) tumblr deleted my response yesterday, so i’m having to try and repost today, sorry for any misunderstandings.
laziness is as natural to us as it is to a lion or a monkey. The negative version that i think you’re referring to is sloth. and there is a vast difference between the two, though they have a similar premise. Both begin with the ideology, “i’m too lazy to…”
lazy caveman: i’m too lazy to make a fire so that i can heat stones to put into the water-basket so that they can heat the water and i can make some tea. maybe i can make a container that can go straight on the fire without the need for heating stones. (the kettle is invented)
Slothful Caveman: I am too lazy to make a fire to heat some stones for boiling water to make tea. I’ll just wait for someone else to make it, and then make my tea.
Immediately we can see the difference. Laziness is the mother of many inventions, while sloth is a decidedly parasitic view that invariably leads to stagnation. It’s not a problem in a RBE though. If you are slothful in a RBE, then you use up less resources than those members of society who are contributing to the abundance, and since technology and access is free for all, the slothful person is encouraged to use even less energy than they themselves had hoped for. And, there is no such thing is useless time spent within a RBE. If all you want to do is sit around playing x-box. i’m sure microsoft will be very interested in having you as one of their games testers.
This “Laziness-factor” is vital to the formation and maintenance of a Resource Based Society and it’s subsequent economy. Once people are doing only what they wish to do, avoiding those labors that they find cumbersome, our technicians will know what technology needs to be created to fill the void. (watch how quickly self-cleaning sustainable toilets become household and public access norms when people stop cleaning toilets because it is a dirty laborious job and nobody really wants to do it)
as for incentive, it is not about getting people to work toward a better society or themselves even. that is utopia and not something altogether desirable. it is about working toward abundance. it is about understanding that even if you are the greediest person alive, a RBE can still provide you with more than the current systems, because it works on abundance and not scarcity. scarcity may increase profit in the monetary system, but that profit is make-believe, and the actual wealth is going completely missed, because the value lies with the resources, not with the representation of the resources’ assumed value as depicted by the people who control the actual resources.
personally i’ve never really been worried about incentives for people to work. Because if you don’t want to work, then i don’t really want whatever you would produce. The lack of enjoyment will show in the quality of your service/product. People find their own incentives when left to their own devices, and direct access to abundance.
Is laziness or "being lazy" a naturally occurring human behaviour/personality? Or is it an "invention" or "concept" directly cause by this perverse system? If it is a naturally occurring characteristic, what role would that play in a resource-based economy where there is no specific incentive to be productive? Say if "for the betterment of yourself and society" was not enough to inspire someone to "work"..
hey all, there’s no link on my page yet, will create today sometime. but for anyone who ever wants to submit something, even just to signal boost… my submition page is here
obviously if it is not in accordance with my beliefs i will remove it from my queue, and my page is “safe for work” so that i can reach the widest possible audience so porn is off-limits, but I would welcome some additional content for the blog while i am busy with other things and thus blog less than my followers deserve.
“you may have just picked this book up, but i’m telling you that you had better think twice before actually going ahead and reading any of it, because you might not get back to sleep in your cozy little home packed with system-provided creature comforts. if I sound like a raving lunatic already; If the advertisements around you are not all screaming at you that you are ugly and fat and useless and that the remedy is to buy their product for a happy life; If your mortgage payments are not in arrears and your credit cards are not all permanently maxed out from paying off the loans you took to pay off your credit cards; if you have found that the current set of systems running the planet are good, solid, well-thought out, brilliantly functioning societal structures that enrich the lives of the people of earth while caring for the earth itself… then please feel free to put this book down, since it does not preach about any of the virtues of the current paradigm so desperately in need of shifting. It will not provide you with reassurance that the world around you makes sense. It might, however, inspire you to do something about the chains so tightly locked around your brain. It might even go so far as to offer you some alternatives to the life of meaningless destruction you have really been living. That, of course means you’d have to finish it, and if you already think I’m crazy, then I can’t promise an easy journey, but I can promise a better chance at a better world. A chance provided almost purely by knowledge and a change in perspective.”—
“99.8% of the global community must be made aware that the one thing everyone has in common is that they are not wealthy. The majority of the planet is poor and in debt. It is now almost common knowledge that 1% of the world’s population controls 40% of the planet’s wealth. Forbes currently lists 1226 Billionaires in a world with 7 Billion people, you do the math. When expressed this way, we immediately see the gross inequity of the economic divide.
However, statistics like these can be turned on their head, like all things man-made. And so it is to be noted that 99% of the population controls 60% of the wealth. This instantly shows us that the majority of the planet owns the majority of the wealth and resources. Obviously this 60% of the wealth is spread out over the 99% of the population, and so is rendered ineffective against the concentrated wealth of the 1%. But if they could only be made aware of their communal power, they could very simply, legally and peacefully shirk the bonds of slavery the 1% now have them chained up in. This is not about the 1%. It’s about the rest of us realizing our full potential.”—
Are ordinary dreams every pre-scripted in the sense that before one dreams, all the events are laid out and the dream’s unfolding is a subconscious discovery of the self at the deeper level of consciousness, the dream’s scriptor?
I just dreamed an epic dream where it seemed as though my subconscious had improvised it as it had experienced it. But I’ve written it down and the plot’s intricacy blows me away; it resembles the skeleton of some novel or film. There is a definite telos. I have no idea how it could have this level of coherence without some subconscious pre-scripting.
i have a theory that our dreams are direct connections to our “other” selves in an infinite series of parallel universes. that while dreaming we get to view our other lives. but the dream is only a window into those other realities. some of these dreams will be viewing a reality we may already have lived and experienced, and will then provide us with feelings of pre-scripting or deja-vu. dreams of those lives we are yet to experience can serve as premonitions and instinctive warnings.
this is obviously all pure conjecture on my part, since i cannot think of a single way to prove it untill the LHC proves parallel universes exist…
“It has become abundantly clear to me, that there are almost no systems left in place on the planet that have not been compromised or corrupted in some way. The current systems all either serve a very few, tirelessly, while ignoring the masses, or actively feeds on the majority, still to the benefit of the very few. This is classic parasitic behaviour, and we are now nearing a very important and subtle verge where the parasite begins to kill the host completely (this will occur as soon as the parasite has found an acceptable new host, or has learned self-sustenance).”—
A new report reveals how wealthy individuals and their families have between $21 and $32 trillion of hidden financial assets around the world in what are known as offshore accounts or tax havens. The actual sums could be higher because the study only deals with financial wealth deposited in bank and investment accounts, and not other assets such as property and yachts. The inquiry was commissioned by the Tax Justice Network and is being touted as the most comprehensive report ever on the “offshore economy.” It also finds that private banks are deeply involved in running offshore havens, with UBS, Credit Suisse and Goldman Sachs handling the most assets.
Learn more, about everything you can, or about just one thing in particular. All that counts is that you are learning. Technically, by learning more about just one thing, you have very little choice about the inevitable inclusion of ever more subject matter to learn about, and the domino effect is tremendous. Soon you will be able to identify everything that touches your heart. Let your heart be touched by all of it. This is not hippy emotional indulgence, it is empathy. Empathy is what separates the apex predators of modern society from the lambs now being led to slaughter. In this same subversive, yet widely-spread idiom we are led to believe that sheep would calmly accept their destiny as a sacrifice to human appetite. Acceptance denotes knowledge. Our idiomatic sheep are willing sacrifices. But are you willing? Because I don’t for a moment mean compromise. No this is all out sacrifice. A complete cessation of personal will and the complete adherence to the will of another. Like a puppet dancing for its master.
Listen to your world. It is speaking to you all the time. The words almost never cease, but there are winds and tides of consciousness flowing throughout our vastly interconnected planet as well, and together they are the symphony being constructed as the full soundtrack of your life, stored in the most amazing memory engine the world has ever seen. The more actively you listen, the easier it is to review those snippets that hold the most value to you. And if ever the music of life gets too much, remember that silence is just a meditation away.
“Our darker selves are little more than enforced ideologies. They are self-fulfilled prophecies, given to us by oracles on digital screens representing the interests of fictional entities controlling us through fictional means. The fictional entities themselves are controlled by a very few individuals, so wealthy that responsibility has lost all meaning. Most of whom we have never seen, or heard of, and we never will. We also don’t have to. We could just shift the paradigm and make the manipulators and enforced ideologies redundant. We could simply walk free, reject their systems and accept responsibility for life, ours and life in its entirety. But that would be too simplistic for most people. They would need reasons, and justification, and plans for the future, all pre-planned for them by someone else. This way, if it doesn’t work, they can easily step aside and say it was never their idea. And if it does work, they get their quick fix to everything that’s wrong with the world. No mess, no fuss, as if you haven’t just woken up after a lifetime of slavery “Just put a Band-Aid on it and smile like nothing happened.” I honestly don’t really understand that thinking, to me, that’s just another false freedom. The complete negation of choice. A cop-out of the responsibility inherent in our rights and freedoms, and if you don’t see that your rights have built-in responsibilities, then you probably think your right to life simply exists and is not born from your responsibility to life. This kind of subversion, be it deliberate or incidental, is the source of our darker nature. We are creatures of light, soiled by distorted perceptions of ourselves.”—
