ugh i’m done with white people
okay… two things here
1… i’m classified as white, (even though i can actually prove I have colored blood in my heritage, because i am an Afrikaans South African and our history is about dubious as any out there.) so does this post include me? because i really wish it would include only the white people who remain ignorant and are not trying to fix the mistakes made by white ancestry.
2… i hate my white ancestry about as much as the average POC (my entire life has been one of limitations caused by apartheid, even though I had nothing to do with it), but hatred is what caused the problem in the first place isn’t it? I’ve been trying to think of a way to create a distinction between me and them, but every time i think i’ve got it, it sounds like an apologetic reply to POC issues, which is the very last thing I want.
This post has left me feeling a little lost…
