of course i’m aware of it. i am reminded every day that it was my ancestors who screwed everything up. and that it was my ancestors who oppressed millions of people.

i have to make amends every day of my life for those bigoted bastards, and now i’m having to defend the fact that i was born with white skin in a country that doesn’t want me, even though i have no choice in the matter, and i also cannot leave.

i’m very aware of all these things, but i’m not allowed to share my awareness of the current situation?

damn! well, best the white boy just shut up and take what’s coming to him for what he didn’t cause and has been trying to overcome his whole life…
